has set a seal | Khatama
Allahu | |

their hearts | ‘ala
qulubi-him | |
| | and
on their hearings | wa’’ala
sam’i-him | |
| | and
on their eyes | wa-‘ala
absari-him | |
| | there
is a covering | ghishawatun
| |
| | theirs
will be | wa-la-hum
| |
| | a
great torment | ‘adhabun
‘azimun | |
| | | | |
| 2:8 | And
of | Wa-mina
| |
| | mankind,
there are some (hypocrites) | al-n-nasi
| |
| | who
say | many
ya-qulu | |
| | we
believe in Allah | "aman-na
bi-Allahi |
|
| | and
the Last Day | wa-bi-al-yawmi
al-“akhiri |
|
| | while
in fact they believe not | wa-ma
hum bi-mu-“minina |
|
| | | | |
| 2:9 | They
(think to) deceive Allah | Yu-khadi’una
Allaha |
|
| | and
those who believe | wa-al-ladhina
"amanu | |
| | while
they deceive | wa-ma
ya-khda’una | |
| | only
themselves | "illa
"anfusa-hum | |
| | and
perceive (it) not | wa-ma
ya-sh’uruna | |
| | | | |
| 2:10 | In
their hearts | Fi
qulubi-him | |
| | is
a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) | maradun
| |
| | and
Allah has increased their disease | fazada-humu
Allahu maradan
| |
| | and
theirs is | wa-la-hum
| |
| | a
painful torment | ‘adhabun
"alimun | |
| | because | bi-ma
| |
| | they
used to tell lies | kanu
ya-kdhibuna | |
