baby daughters wrongly thought an evil sign, 16:58-59, 43:18, 53:21-22

And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!" (16:58)

He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth[]? Certainly, evil is their decision." (16:59)

(Do they then like for Allah) a creature who is brought up in adornments (wearing silk and gold ornaments, i.e. women), and in dispute cannot make herself clear?" (43:18)

Is it for you the males and for Him the females?" (53:21)

That indeed is a division most unfair!" (53:22)
