Among
the believers are men who have been true to their covenant
with Allah [i.e. they have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting),
and showed not their backs to the disbelievers], of them some
have fulfilled their obligations (i.e. have been martyred),
and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed
[i.e.they never proved treacherous to their covenant which
they concluded with Allah] in the least." (33:23)
|
 |
| They
will never taste death therein except the first death (of this
world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing
Fire," (44:56) |
 |
| Then
how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death,
smiting their faces and their backs?" (47:27) |
 |
| We
have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable," (56:60)
|
 |
| And
you at the moment are looking on," (56:84) |
 |
| But
We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than
you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol.27, Page 209]"
(56:85) |
 |
| Then
why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense
(punishment, etc.)" (56:86) |
 |
| Bring
back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful?" (56:87) |
 |
| And
spend (in charity) of that with which We have provided you,
before death comes to one of you and he says: "My Lord! If only
You would give me respite for a little while (i.e. return to
the worldly life), then I should give Sadaqah (i.e. Zakat) of
my wealth, and be among the righteous [i.e. perform Hajj (pilgrimage
to Makkah)]." (63:10) |
 |
| And
leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded)" (75:29)
