95. Surah at-Tin (The Fig)

Bismi Allahi alr-Rahmani alr-Rahimi
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

 
 
1. Walt tini waalz zaytuni
  By the fig, and the olive,
 
 
2. Wa-turi sinina
  By mount Sinai,
 
 
3. Wa-hadha al-baladi al-“amini
  And by this city of security (Makkah),
 
 
4. Laqad khalaqna al-“insana fi “ahsani taqwimin
  Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idris (Enoch)],
 
 
5. Thumma radadnahu "asfala safilina
  Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low,
 
 
6. “Illa al-ladhina “amanu wa-’amilu als-salihati falahum “ajrun ghayru mamnunin
  Save those who believe (in Islamic monotheism) and do righteous deeds, Then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise).
 
 
7. Fama yukadhdhibuka ba-’du bi ald-dini
  Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)?
 
 
8. “Alaysa Allahu bi-“Ahkami al-Hakimina
  Is not Allah the best of judges?
